GREAT IDEA: Matthew Mayfield is a phenomenal artist & songwriter, but he is also really good about mentioning causes, other artists & organizations. This is totally sincere - but it is a great way to connect with other folks - what do you care about? How can you use your platform to connect YOUR fans to things YOU care about? What an opportunity for you to be apart of something bigger than you.
[PS: If you’re wanting our recommendation, we think “Better” is one of the most beautiful songs that Mayfield has written.]
Happy LIVE Website Day…we’re excited to introduce you to our website!

when people who are trying to make it in the music business/show business do nothing but complain about all the problems in the industry and media. Yes, there are some not so great things about it. But you’re not famous yet and when your career is in the early stages the media is going to help fuel your career. You can deny it all you want, but it’s so true.
THIS IS SO TRUE and a great piece of music wisdom. Complaining [constantly] is extremely damaging - not only to others’ view of you, but also to your view of yourself. Victim mentality runs rampant in the music business. Having a positive attitude, hope & realistic expectations is key to making it. [and by “making it”, I mean, it not eating you alive. ;)]
